My favourite work is always anything related to computer, because I cannot think of a day without laying my hands on the keyboard. I am good at typing and have ample knowledge in English language and grammar. I do a lot of projects for high-school students and thereby I get a clear picture of the difference between what I studied in those times and what students are studying now. I do quite some graphic works also, as I am well experienced in using CorelDraw and Photoshop. Another plus point of this work is that, I can decide my time of job.

In our local residents’ association anniversary, everybody was allowed to do something new, just for fun. So, I thought of a plan, summoned all members and told them that a musical chair competition will be conducted, and the first prize will be a trip to London and the second prize will be a night in Paris. Nobody believed it, but I assured them saying the only condition was that every adult in each family should participate in it. The competition was a grand success with every adult, from 18-year old to 80-year old participated in it. At last, two winners were awarded the prizes. The first winner got a book titled “A trip to London” and the next winner another book titled” A night in Paris”.

My whole life I have lived in the suburbs.  Every single thought, major memory and life moment has happened in the burbs.  I have been born and bred to be a suburbanite. Don’t get me wrong I do love it here. I just often wonder what it would be like to spend life on a farm or in the city.  I have thought about moving, but I just fear I won’t be happier anywhere other than here.  I mean I do deal with traffic and some nonsense, like my annoying neighbors who refuse to take care of their property, but overall I love it.  I love the freedom to walk around the neighborhood with no worries. I love that it only takes a few minutes to hit up the local gas station, bar, restaurant or store.  I love that I have a lawn to sit in and sunbathe or plant flowers.  I love the burbs and I feel it’s the place to be.  If only I could trade with someone for a week.  I guess that’s what vacation is for. 

Is it just me or has TV really changed over time.  I mean I know the content is bound to change, but why does everything have to be a reality show.  Don’t get me wrong, I seemed to be glued to all the shows, but I think it’s because they really just don’t give me much of a choice.  If it’s not some cooking show, dating show, or judge show its crazy TV.  I never thought I would miss the overpaid celebrities of my childhood, but I do. I miss real TV. I miss TV with silly little cheesy lines that everyone remembers. I miss seeing all the posters and t-shirts that were sold of actors when I was a kid.  Where has all the creativity gone?  Let’s just hope the big TV execs of the world feel the same way too and that things will soon change a little to help me remember and feel like a kid again.  “What’s happening Willis?”
